Evidence-led, policy-aware
A reminder should create a useful response—not merely report a delivery.
Research across healthcare settings supports digital reminders as a practical way to improve attendance. The operational value comes from asking for a clear response early enough to reschedule or reassign the slot.
Deposit policies require separate judgment. NoShowLine keeps amounts, services, exceptions, and wording under your control so a scheduling tool does not replace clinical, ethical, or customer-care decisions.
What the research shows

Questions
Is NoShowLine a booking system?
No. NoShowLine is the confirmation and appointment-security layer that sits alongside your existing calendar or practice-management workflow. It is designed to make booked time more dependable, not replace clinical records or scheduling software.
Who decides when a deposit is required?
Your practice does. You choose the services, amounts, timing, release conditions, and exceptions. NoShowLine communicates and applies the rules you configure; it does not impose a blanket policy on every patient or client.
Can people confirm without downloading an app?
Yes. Confirmations arrive by SMS or WhatsApp from the NoShowLine messaging number, so the recipient answers in a familiar message thread without creating an account or installing anything. Replying CONFIRM, RESCHEDULE or STOP updates the appointment.
Does the $149 plan include the messaging itself?
Yes. Confirmations are sent from the NoShowLine messaging number by SMS or WhatsApp, and that messaging is included in the subscription. There is no separate messaging bill to set up. Bringing your own number is on the roadmap for practices that need their existing number on the thread.
Is the messaging engine live yet?
The sender goes live per deployment. Until it is live, the dashboard shows messaging as not configured, scheduling is refused with that reason, and NoShowLine never pretends a confirmation was sent.
What about privacy and patient consent?
Your organization remains responsible for consent, permitted message content, privacy safeguards, retention, accessibility, refund terms, and the rules that apply in your jurisdiction. Keep sensitive clinical details out of reminder messages unless your compliance review permits them.
NoShowLine supports practice-defined appointment communications and deposit workflows. Your organization remains responsible for consent, privacy, accessibility, payment and refund terms, and compliance with applicable healthcare, communications, and consumer-protection requirements. NoShowLine does not provide clinical, legal, or financial advice.
